Feel every vibration of the aircraft, just like a real one
Pilots feel an aircraft with their whole body. To match those finely tuned senses, every acceleration and every G-force has to be simulated. Our Airbus A320 cockpit simulators are mounted on six-axis electro-hydraulic platforms that move freely in every direction.
On takeoff, the entire platform tilts back so your inner ear reads it as pure acceleration, and you'll be gently pushed back into your seat. When braking, it tilts forward and you feel the runway pulling you to a stop.
In turbulence, the cockpit shudders through the seat and the floor. Every movement is synchronised to the view out of the window down to the millisecond. The result is a flight your body cannot tell from the real thing.

Spatial awareness is the foundation of flying. You need to know where the runway, the terrain, the skyline and the weather are at every second of the flight. The visual system wraps over 200 degrees around the cockpit in satellite-quality imagery, with accurate buildings on a selection of big airports, including lighting and approach guidance.

Whether you have aviation knowledge or not, get ready for the flight of a lifetime
What do these switches actually do? Before you climb in, a real Airbus pilot will walk you through the scenario you chose, the cockpit, the controls and will answer all the questions you may have. By the end of the briefing you'll know enough to set the thrust, rotate, climb out, navigate, descend, configure for landing and bring it back down on the runway.
If you already have flight experience, we'll of course adapt the briefing to your level of knowledge. Your Airbus pilot will tailor the session around you.

Do I need any flying experience?+
No, none at all! Most guests have never touched aircraft controls before their session, and the briefing covers everything you need before you fly. Of course, if you have some aviation knowledge, your pilot will adapt the briefing and the session to your level of experience.
Do I actually land the plane myself?+
Yes, you're hands on the controls for the entire session, landing included. Your pilot coaches you through it but won't take over unless you ask.
Can I fly with a friend?+
Yes, most Experiences can be booked with an Additional Pilot alongside you, and Challenge a Friend is built specifically for two. You'll both get real time in the seat.
Is my guest guaranteed a cockpit seat?+
Yes, every booking includes one free observer seat in the cockpit, whether you're flying solo or with an Additional Pilot. Whoever you bring watches the whole flight from right where it happens, inside the simulator.
Where is the facility?+
We're about a 20 minute drive from Dubai International Airport (DXB), depending on traffic, inside the Sharjah Airport International Free Zone. It's a secured, gated area, so we'll send you a QR code ahead of your visit to get through the security gate.
What's the minimum age?+
The minimum age is 15 on the day of the flight. Guests under 18 need to come with a parent or guardian.
What should I wear?+
Smart-casual and flat, closed shoes is all you need. For women, trousers rather than a skirt or dress work best, since the harness runs between the legs, and we'd ask everyone to dress modestly, in keeping with local custom here in the UAE and the Sharjah Emirate.
Do I pay in full upfront?+
You start with a booking request. Once your date and time are confirmed, you'll receive a payment link to pay for your session before it takes place.
